bio

Julia Vvedenskaya is a software engineer in New York who builds apps, digital tools, interfaces and data pipelines. She came to code through video, editing trailers, documentaries and commercials, and then moved through QA into backend work at Eloquent Bits, on Python APIs and PikeSquares, a developer CLI. Since 2025 she runs vvex.studio, her umbrella for personal and collaborative work: maps, media archives, data visualizations and AI experiments, for clients like the Bombay Beach Biennale. Away from the screen she practices and teaches yoga.
